Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Parslo collects, uses, and protects information when you use our shipping assistance service.
Information we collect
We may collect:
- Account information (name, email, phone number)
- Shipping addresses and shipment details
- Photos of addresses, items, and packages
- Payment metadata processed by Stripe (we do not store full card numbers)
- Device, browser, and usage information
Why we collect photos
Photos help us extract shipping addresses, estimate package details, assist with label creation, and support safety and prohibited-item screening. Package photos are used for shipment assistance and safety review — not for advertising purposes.
Photo retention
Unnecessary raw package photos are deleted after 30 days by default. Photos tied to active disputes, safety reviews, or legal obligations may be retained longer. You may request deletion of your photos by contacting support, subject to legal and operational requirements.
Payment information
Payment card information is collected and processed directly by Stripe. Parslo does not store your full credit card number or security code. See Stripe's privacy policy for details on how they handle payment data.
Delivery
Physical package delivery is performed by USPS, UPS, or other carriers you select at checkout — not by Parslo. Carrier privacy practices apply to in-transit handling of your package.
Your choices
You can update account information in your dashboard, request data deletion, and opt out of non-essential communications. Some data must be retained for fraud prevention, legal compliance, and shipment records.
